About Warwick Potters Association

The Warwick Potter’s Association Inc. was formed in 1973 by a group of likeminded folk interested in pottery came together to learn, conduct workshops and look to the future of pottery on the Southern Downs.

Regular pottery classes for advanced and beginner potters are offered in all facets of pottery including hand building and wheel work. Members meet weekly and firing of pottery in the kilns is coordinated by an experienced member. New members are mentored by experienced and trained members to introduce them to the various sections of pottery. 

What you can do at the Warwick Potters Association studio

  • Penny King - Hand Building

  • Cathy Holmes - Wheel Throwing

Potters Place the home of the Warwick Potters Association Inc has been a place to gather, share knowledge, skills and friendship. Three of our members will be showcasing their individual skills, We will have demonstrations of wheel throwing, hand building and sculpting and our third member will be demonstrating slip casting and glass bead making. The three members are well known in our region and exhibit their work across the region.

 
Studio Address: 63 Horsman Road Warwick

Situated in Glennie Heights opposite Warwick Christian College, there is plenty of parking with wheelchair accessibility to the Gallery. Toilets available but no accessibility toilet.
