About Sue
Sue Hamlet is a contemporary Warwick artist who works mainly in acrylics. She balances her time between creating vibrant, uplifting works on canvas and facilitating artistic and therapeutic workshops. Her works evoke hope, curiosity and wonder about the inner and outer world.
Stylistically diverse, Sue paints bold florals, ‘starscapes’ of the night sky above rural scenes, whimsical illustrative landscapes, and nature-influenced abstracts. She is influenced by naïve art, Impressionism, Fauvism and contemporary abstract artists.
Sue believes that art has an important role in connecting people to themselves and to each other, and this resonates with a broad audience. Although she has been painting for just a few years, her works have already been collected and commissioned by people across Australia and overseas. Her fine art prints and art cards provide collecting opportunities for anyone who wishes to acquire an uplifting artwork for their home or as a gift.
What you can do with Sue at the studio
