About Jayde Clacy

 

Jayde is a Warwick artist who began her artistic journey doing fashion and textile work finding creative opportunities out of repurposing garments and fabric finds. In 2019, she discovered watercolours and was prolific in her exploration of the medium. Her love of textiles found its way back into her oeuvre as she started incorporating stitching and embellishment into her watercolour abstracts. Her colours are reminiscent of the art nouveau era and her subject’s pure imagination.

About the POP UP STUDIO event

Four artists and one artist collective will set up temporary studios in the garden outside Warwick Art Gallery on Saturday 5 November from 9.30am to 3.30pm. 

​

Jayde will be demonstrating her current passion which is painting tiny little artworks 7cm x 7cm. You can participate in a workshop with Jayde at 10am and 1pm on Sunday 6th November. Warwick Art Gallery is located at 49 Albion Street Warwick. There is lots of parking in the Southern Downs Regional Council car park. Disabled parking. Toilets on site.
