About Donna

Originally from NSW, and now living on the Southern Downs, I learnt my trade from a qualified chandler and while in NSW, attended many country markets successfully selling my products. Three years on, I have been making and selling candles, have attended many workshops to hone my craft and pride myself on professional service and high quality, fragrant candles. We are very excited with our products and have recently increased our range online and are now making pillar candles in soy and beeswax, so there is "something for everyone".

What you can do at Donna's studio

Windyhaze Creations are offering a 2 - hour workshop to learn how to make candles. The workshops are at 10am Saturday and Sunday. $80 includes 2 x glass container candles with 2 different wicking styles. Choose your fragrances on the day. Each candle can be made with a different fragrance. Full instructions will be given in the class as well as a display on how to make pillar candles. Tea/coffee and refreshments will be provided. All participants need to bring a pen and paper to take notes and an apron if you wish. There will be time for a Q and A whilst the candles set. The classes are designed to give an insight into candle making. Classes are limited to max of 6 people, these classes are not available to young children. Events will be placed on our Facebook page and bookings can be made by calling Donna Hey on 0432179142. Bookings must be done by 1 October 2020. A deposit is required to secure your booking. Outside of classes there will be daily displays of candle making including pillars made of soy and beeswax. We will have some candles for sale on the weekend, but candles can be ordered and posted around Australia.

2 workshops 17/10 and 18/10 - 10am to midday
