INTRODUCING OUR ARTISTS
Amelia Batchelor (aka MealieB) is a painter, sculptor and illustrator with a background in corporate graphic design & multimedia. Amelia has a passion for the environment, expressed throughout her pieces, particularly with the use of eco-friendly materials in her projects and her recycled art sculptures. Vibrant artworks, fun characters and enthusiastic audiences are trademarks of her work.
Where can you see MealieB working
Amelia will be based in the spaces outside Warwick Art Gallery. She will commence her drawings on the 4th of November and work on them until the 6th of November so there is plenty of time for posing for photos with the finished works.
Gallery Address: 49 Albion Street Warwick
The Gallery has plenty of free car parking. Entry to the Gallery is free. There are several coffee shops nearby The Cherry Tree and Espresso Max.
MealieB's participation in the Trail has been made possible by funding from the Southern Downs Regional Council, Australian and Queensland Governments through the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
